Additional Holiday Tips

  1. If children will be invited, have an area that they can call their own. Provide activities such as cookie decorating (parent supervision required!) coloring or seasonally appropriate crafts. If baking, or crafts are not your idea of fun, do you have any games for them to play? If you do not have children of your own, i.e. no toys, then ask the parents to bring items to keep their littles entertained.
  2. Games – Adults like games just as much as the kids! Have you found a really fun game that can be done in a large group? Personally, I really enjoy Minute to Win It games (fun for both kids and adults) or the classic Cards Against Humanity (adults only). Recently, I also went to a dinner party where the host had a virtual reality game. That was quite entertaining!
